Malanginspirsi.com – A warm and vibrant atmosphere embraced the Piataland Malang area on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Togetherland Piataland, an event organized by the student team from the Communication Science Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Enforce Creative, was successfully held by featuring a lunchbox decorating competition that fostered direct collaboration between parents and children.
With an educational and engaging concept, the event was designed to foster early childhood creativity while simultaneously strengthening family bonds. Each parent-child pair displayed enthusiasm in every stage of the competition, from brainstorming ideas to transforming ordinary lunchboxes into colorful and imaginative creations.
Fauzi, the team leader of Enforce Creative, expressed their joy in witnessing the enthusiasm and happiness radiating from every participating family.
“Togetherland Piataland is not just about competition but about creating precious moments that will be remembered. We believe that quality time and collaborative activities like this are essential for children’s development and for enhancing the bond between parents and children,” he explained.
Participants showcased unique and innovative ideas in decorating their children’s lunchboxes, ranging from funny character shapes to eye-pleasing landscape miniatures.
Evaluation wasn’t solely based on visual appeal; creativity and collaboration during the process were also important points in the judges’ assessment.
Several pairs emerged as winners, taking home attractive prizes such as trophies, medals, and exclusive merchandise. More importantly, however, was the shared experience felt by all participants.
“Seeing my child so enthusiastic and being able to work together to decorate the lunchbox was a victory in itself for us,” said one participating parent.
She explained that this event really provided a positive experience for them to spend time together on the weekend.
Through Togetherland Piataland, Enforce Creative and Piataland Malang aim to continue encouraging the emergence of family activities rich in educational, social, and emotional value.
Both parties explained that they will continue to present similar events that are not only entertaining but also have a positive impact on families, because great characters grow in the future from small moments like this.
