en.Malanginspirasi.com – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Brawijaya University (FKH UB) officially launched the Integrity Zone (ZI) in 2026 on Monday, February 23, 2026.
The entire FKH academic community attended the event that marks an important milestone in the effort to create a clean, transparent work environment free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN).
The Dean of FKH UB, drh. Dyah Ayu Oktavianie A.P., M.Biotech. officially opened the event.
In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of a joint commitment from all faculty elements to building a sustainable culture of integrity within FKH UB.
“The launch of this Integrity Zone is not merely a formality, but a shared commitment from the entire FKH UB academic community to build a work culture based on integrity, transparency, and accountability,” said drh. Dyah.
One of the main agenda items of this event was the signing of an integrity pact by the FKH leadership, heads of work units, and all heads of laboratories under the FKH’s auspices.
This signing symbolized the strong commitment of all unit leaders and managers to carry out their duties and functions professionally, honestly, and responsibly.

The event also featured a socialization session from the Brawijaya University Integrity Zone Team.
It outlined two important themes that comprise conflict of interest management and the Whistleblowing System (WBS) reporting mechanism.
This socialization aimed to increase the understanding of the entire academic community in recognizing, preventing, and reporting potential irregularities that could occur within the institution.
Attending the event were all FKH UB lecturers and educational staff, as well as student representatives from the Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Student Representative Council (DPM).
The involvement of student representatives in this activity reflects the spirit of inclusivity and collaboration across campus elements in realizing good governance.
The launch of the 2026 Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) UB aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which promotes accountable and transparent institutions.
This initiative also supports SDG 4 on Quality Education by creating a healthy and integrity-based academic environment, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals, which is reflected in the synergy of all elements of the academic community involved in this agenda.
The launch of this Integrity Zone remarks the strong path of FKH UB toward the designation of a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM).
FKH UB also strengthens its position as a higher education institution that excels not only academically but also serves as a role model for clean, professional, and responsible governance.
