Polres Batu Holds Routine Mass Control Exercise to Strengthen Public Security Capabilities

EN.malanginspirasi.com – Batu Police (Polres Batu) carried out its routine Mass Control (Dalmas) training to enhance the preparedness and professionalism of its personnel in dealing with potential disturbances to public security and order (Kamtibmas). The exercise took place at the Mapolres Batu Field on Monday, 6 April 2026, and was attended by combined personnel from the Samapta Unit and local police headquarters staff.

Speaking on behalf of the Batu Police Chief, Head of Public Relations Ipda M. Huda said the training is a mandatory periodic agenda for all personnel aimed at refreshing their field technical abilities.

“Today’s training focused on strengthening Dalmas formations, improving agility in shield handling, and enhancing coordination between units,” Ipda M. Huda explained during the activity.

“It is crucial that every officer fully understands the standard operating procedures (Protap) for managing crowds in a humane yet firm manner,” he added.

On-site observations showed officers actively practicing various formations, ranging from initial Dalmas to advanced tactics. In addition to technical skills, the exercise placed strong emphasis on emotional control when facing pressure from crowds in the field.

Ipda M. Huda added that maintaining security stability in Batu Tourist City remains the top priority, especially ahead of major regional events.

“Batu is a dynamic tourist city. Therefore, the Police Chief stresses that the Indonesian National Police (Polri) must always be ready under any circumstances,” he said.

“Through this intensive training, we want to ensure the public feels safe and comfortable knowing their officers are fully prepared,” Ipda M. Huda concluded.

The session, which began at 08:00 WIB, ran smoothly and in an orderly manner. With regular exercises like this, Polres Batu hopes to keep its personnel’s mentality and skills sharp, enabling them to deliver maximum protection, guidance, and service to the community.
