‘Sampai Titik Terakhirmu’: A True Story of Love, Resilience, and Ovarian Cancer

Malanginspirasi.com – ‘Sampai Titik Terakhirmu’ (Till Your Last Breath) is a film inspired by the true story of Shella Selpi Lizah and her courageous battle against ovarian cancer. Directed by Dianna Jasanti and produced by Lyto Pictures, the film is set to premiere simultaneously in cinemas across Indonesia on November 13, 2025.

The official 2-minute-21-second trailer delivers a powerful emotional arc: first encounters, moments shared with friends and a partner, and the devastating arrival of cancer that upends everything.

Intimate scenes are underscored by Nadhif Basalamah’s song ‘Bergema Sampai Selamanya’, highlighting the purity of love amid illness.

The trailer’s tone makes one thing clear—viewers should bring tissues. It captures both heart-wrenching peaks and relatable everyday details that ground the story in raw humanity.

Synopsis

Shella Selpi Lizah (Mawar Eva de Jongh) was a former women’s football athlete and popular TikTok content creator. She gained widespread attention by documenting her cancer journey alongside her partner.

What began as mild symptoms—cramps or ordinary abdominal pain—led to a diagnosis of an ovarian cyst. Over time, the cyst evolved into cancer, with the tumor growing larger.

For three years, Shella underwent major surgery, chemotherapy, and various treatments while openly sharing her daily life on social media.

On August 29, 2024, she passed away after her long fight ended.

Her partner, Albi Dwizky (Arbani Yasiz), was far more than a companion. He was a witness to her entire journey.

Albi provided unwavering emotional and physical support through the toughest treatments. The couple married on August 14, 2024, but their joy lasted only two weeks before Shella’s death.

A touching scene of Albi continuously supporting Shella through her final days.

The film supported by a strong ensemble including Unique Priscilla, Kiki Narendra, Onadio Leonardo, Tika Panggabean, and others.

At the press conference, producer Marcella Daryanani (quoted from trendzindonesia.com) emphasized that ‘Sampai Titik Terakhirmu’ transcends romance.

“This is a celebration of life. It’s about how love becomes the strength to keep moving forward, even in loss. Seeing the audience’s tears and applause tonight, we know the message has landed,” she said.

Rooted in a true story, ‘Sampai Titik Terakhirmu’ goes beyond tragedy. It’s a heartfelt tribute to love, resilience, and the enduring memories that remain — a reminder that even at life’s final point, love can echo forever.
