KSR Unikama Held Blood Donation Event As a Field of Charity

en.malanginspirasi.com – Volunteer Corps (KSR) as a Student Activity Unit of PGRI Kanjuruhan University of Malang (Unikama) held a humanitarian activity in the form of a blood donation on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29, 2026.

The activity is in collaboration with the Blood Donor Unit of Indonesian Red Cross Malang city took place at Sarwakirti Hall, Unikama.

It becomes a regular activity in every three months as a part of the implementation of the KSR 2026 management work program.

The committee invited and gave chance to regular donors as well as new ones from the campus community of Kanjuruhan University of Malang and the surrounding community.

“We invited the participants intern the campus as well as public society by digital platforms as well as letters”, said Maria Tasia Dhajo, the chairman of committee.

The blood donation is a noble activity by which any individual can donate our blood to the patients who need it.

Besides that, it can also maintain our body’s health.

The blood which is used as long as the donor’s age will be taken out as much 250 cc will be replaced by new blood produced by the heart gradually.

And the body will feel more fresh.

“We are glad to hold blood donor because it can be our the field of charity,” said Insyirah Nabila Falil Yusriah, the Chief of KSR.

In addition, she said that blood donation can be a lifestyle.

Students of PGRI 6 High School Joined The Blood Donation Activity

PGRI 6 Senior High School Malang equip their students with some subjects stated in the curriculum.

As an educational institution, it has noble duties and obligates to educate the students to be good character people and train them with special skills.

Based on those duties, Dhina Mariyani Astuti, S.Pd., The Vice Principal for Student Affairs motivates some students to take apart the blood donation event by KSR Wednesday April 29, 2026 in Sarwakirti Hall.

“I  motivate them to join it in order to be students who like helping others as the teaching done by religious teacher that the best person is someone who is useful to others,” she said.

Some students joined the charity activity.

Jasmine, one of them said that before she was doubtfull because of the needle.

And she thought that it will be painful.

But after the blood donation done, she felt fine and said that she will motivate her friends to join the next blood donation.

It seemed that she feel proud of herself.
