Ange Postecoglou Named New Al-Nassr Boss, Set to Coach Cristiano Ronaldo

en.malanginspirasi.com – Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has officially been named the new head coach of Saudi Arabian champions Al-Nassr.

Heading to the Saudi Pro League,  he has signed a two-year contract to take charge in the team, fresh off the club’s historic first-ever league title in May.

Postecoglou replaces 71-year-old Portuguese tactician Jorge Jesus, who parted ways with the Riyadh club at the end of last season.

This appointment marks a return to the dugout for Postecoglou.

The move offers the 60-year-old Australian a high-profile redemption arc after a brutal, 39-day spell at Nottingham Forest ended in his sacking last October.

Having spent his recent weeks on television screens as an ITV World Cup pundit, Postecoglou will now pivot back to the touchline.

Al-Nassr fans will be hoping Ange Postecoglou  can replicate the silverware-heavy success of his past.

Despite that recent setback, his resume includes leading Tottenham to a Europa League title in 2025 and winning consecutive Scottish Premiership trophies with Celtic.
