en.malanginspirasi.com – The Jakarta Metro Police (Polda Metro Jaya) have deployed a joint force of 10,121 personnel to secure the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup final match between the Indonesian and Thai national teams at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta, on Monday (Oct 5, 2026).
The preparation of security measures is to ensure the entire match proceedings run safely and orderly, covering everything from supporter movement and stadium entry access to traffic management in the vicinity of the SUGBK complex.
The Head of the Operations Bureau (Karoops) of the Jakarta Metro Police, Brigadier General La Ode Aries El Fathar, emphasized that the aim of these preparations are at finalizing personnel deployment, supporter mobility flows, traffic management schemes, and contingency plans.
“This Tactical Floor Game (TFG) is to ensure that personnel deployment and operational patterns in the field are understood by all units. The communication of the outcomes must be for commanding officers and relevant personnel so that execution is well-directed and coordinated,” said La Ode while leading the TFG session on Monday (Oct 5, 2026).

The series of matches at SUGBK begins with the third-place play-off between Malaysia and Vietnam at 16:00 WIB.
Subsequently, the final match pits Indonesia against Thailand at 20:00 WIB.
Joint security personnel have been deployed to key locations, including travel routes, stadium entrances, the stands, the interior of the GBK complex, designated supporter gathering points, and roads surrounding the Senayan area.
Jakarta Metro Police Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, urged supporters of both teams and the general public to help maintain an orderly atmosphere throughout the event.
“Please offer your support in an orderly and sportsmanlike manner. Comply with security checks and officer instructions, and avoid bringing prohibited items,” Budi said.
He added that traffic management around the GBK stadium complex would be handled situationally, adjusting to conditions on the ground.
Motorists planning to pass through the area are advised to anticipate potential congestion by adjusting their travel times and routes.
