The narrative centers around a group of seasonal laborers working at an old sugar factory. Among them are Endah, Wati, Ningsih, Dwi, Hendra, Fadhil, and Franky, who are hired annually to assist in the harvesting and processing of sugar cane in the fields.
Initially, their work unfolds without any supernatural incidents. But, everything changes when Endah experiences an eerie event one night, which transforms the factory’s tranquility into a haunting atmosphere.
Awakening in the middle of the night, Endah sees a mysterious figure wandering around the factory premises. Driven by curiosity, she decides to follow the apparition, unknowingly setting off a chain of horrifying events that will haunt her fellow laborers.
One by one, terrifying incidents begin to unfold, from absurd workplace accidents to the tragic death of a laborer in a well behind the factory. Fear envelops the workers as the mystery surrounding the sugar factory becomes increasingly difficult to ignore. They embark on a quest to uncover the truth.
As dark secrets begin to surface, it is revealed that the sugar factory sits adjacent to an ancient kingdom of evil spirits, which has long resided there. The restless spirits inhabiting the area are enraged for reasons yet to be disclosed. As a result, they demand lives as a form of revenge for disturbing their realm.
Tensions escalate, forcing the workers to question their fate. Will they survive the curse threatening their lives. Or will there be a way to quell the anger of the supernatural beings?
