Harry Kane Wins Second European Golden Shoe After Prolific 36-Goal Campaign

en.malanginspirasi.com –  England footballer Harry Kane has been awarded the European Golden Shoe for the second time, capping a dominant 2025/26 season.

The England captain scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga.

The Bayern Munich striker finished as Europe’s top scorer and claimed the German scoring title for a third consecutive year.

Club officials presented the award at the Bayern Munich museum, placing Kane alongside club legends Gerd Müller and Robert Lewandowski as only the third player in the club’s history to win the continental prize twice.

Kane described the campaign as the finest of his career.

He expressed gratitude to his teammates, coaching staff, family and the club for their support throughout the season.

The forward also reiterated his contentment at Bayern, stating he feels no strong desire to return to the Premier League at this stage.

The achievement underlines Kane’s continued excellence since his move to Munich, solidifying his status as one of Europe’s most consistent goalscorers.

The Bundesliga single-season scoring record is held by Robert Lewandowski with 41 goals in 2020/21,  achieved in just 29 matches for Bayern Munich.

Next is Gerd Müller with 40 goals in 1971/72. Müller also scored 38 in 1969/70 and 36 in 1972/73.

Kane’s 36 goals in 2025/26 (in 31 appearances) matches his own previous best from 2023/24 and ties Müller’s 1972/73 total.

This places Kane joint-fourth on the all-time single-season list, alongside Müller’s 36.
