IPNU-IPPNU Jabung Holds Maulid Diba’ Recitation to Strengthen Bonds

Malanginspirasi.com – The Sub-district Branch Leadership (PAC) of Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama (IPNU) and Ikatan Pelajar Putri Nahdlatul Ulama (IPPNU) Jabung successfully held a Maulid Diba’ recitation on Monday evening, December 8, 2025, at the Majelis Wakil Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama (MWC NU) office in Jabung.

The non-formal religious event, which ran from 18:00 WIB until completion, was attended mainly by male and female members of the PAC IPNU-IPPNU Jabung.

Participants jointly recited verses of praise for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Ahmad Zainur Rozikin, Treasurer of PAC IPNU-IPPNU Jabung, explained that the activity served two main goals. Strengthening the organisation’s presence at the village-branch level and re-activating dormant branches.

“This is indeed the primary objective. We believe such events can attract and solidify the interest of village branches in IPNU-IPPNU activities,” Ahmad said.

He expressed hope that the gathering would motivate inactive branches across Jabung sub-district. Especially among youth who share a love for sholawat and religious activities.

Fadli, Co-Head of the Sports, Arts and Culture Department (Orsenbud), echoed the sentiment, stressing the importance of non-technical religious programmes in building a positive image.

“We hope this will tighten the bonds of friendship among teenagers with similar interests in Jabung,” Fadli said.

He added that such events help dispel the perception that organisational activities are monotonous or unappealing.

Ahmad further highlighted the deeper spiritual message: fostering better human relationships while seeking the intercession of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH/Peace Be Upon Him).

“If we can attain His intercession together as a group, why not?” he remarked with a smile.

The event concluded peacefully and solemnly, reaffirming PAC IPNU-IPPNU Jabung’s commitment to implementing spiritually enriching and organisation-strengthening programmes.
