This commitment was demonstrated through a Troop Deployment Ceremony (Apel Gelar Pasukan) for Lebaran Security held at the base.
Head of Operations Division (Kadisops) at Lanud Abdulrachman Saleh Malang, Colonel Pilot (Kolonel Pnb) Dodik Supriyanto, emphasized that securing the Lebaran transport period is a critical task requiring high readiness and constant vigilance from all personnel. He made the statement to journalists in Malang on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
“Vigilance must always be heightened. We must be prepared to face any potential incidents that could arise during the Lebaran transport period,” Dodik Supriyanto said.

He added that personnel should not treat this duty as routine but as a shared responsibility to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the airport. Every member was reminded to carry out their tasks with full accountability, maintain strong coordination, and ensure effective communication with relevant agencies.
“In the event of an urgent situation or any potential threat to airport security and operations, personnel are instructed to report it immediately to leadership for swift follow-up action,” he stressed.
Through this troop deployment ceremony, Colonel Dodik hopes all security elements can perform their duties optimally.
“This will create a safe, orderly, and conducive environment throughout the Lebaran 2026 transport period at Abdulrachman Saleh Airport in Malang,” he concluded.
