The absence of Dalberto presents a challenge for Arema FC as they strive to return to winning form. Head coach Ze Gomes emphasized that losing a key player is not a new scenario for his team.

On the other hand, Malut United will come into this match with impressive momentum. In the attacking line, Arema FC has several alternative players. Including Dedik Setiawan, who frequently partnered with Charles Lokoli Ngoy last season.
Other options include Hamzah Titofani and Muhammad Rafli. Ze Gomes may also consider a formation with a single main striker while reinforcing the flanks.
