en.malanginspirasi.com — Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi delivered a sobering briefing at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday, declaring that an alleged wiretapping operation by police generals targeting Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto represents a critical breach of national security and potentially an act of treason.

Addressing reporters, Prasetyo highlighted the gravity of the ongoing investigation into the unlawful surveillance.

“We are of the opinion that these actions fall into a category that could be considered acts leading toward treason, as well as actions that endanger the safety of state interests and the leadership of the nation,” Prasetyo stated.

The minister voiced deep concern over what the government describes as a complex criminal conspiracy involving illegal wiretapping, unauthorized data access, and the deliberate destruction of digital evidence aimed at the head of state alongside several high-ranking officials and prominent figures.

“This afternoon, we want to share updates regarding recent developments following the identification of several individuals suspected of committed criminal acts—specifically wiretapping, deletion of electronic evidence, and illegal access,” he added.

Executive Reshuffle and Operational Continuity

In the wake of the security breach, President Prabowo signed a executive decree officially dismissing the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who has been implicated in the wiretapping scheme.

Lieutenant General Ariyo Windutomo of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has been named interim head of the KSP to ensure immediate continuity.

“This morning, the President reached a decision and signed the presidential decree regarding the discharge of Mr. Listyo Sigit Prabowo,” Prasetyo confirmed.

Addressing potential public fallout, the Minister reassured the public that government functions and public services would remain unaffected.

He noted that executive leadership has held direct consultations with the Chief of National Police to guarantee that law enforcement operations continue without disruption.

Prasetyo concluded by reiterating that surveillance activities within the country must strictly adhere to statutory protocols, promising transparency as the legal process unfolds against those responsible.
