2026 UTBK Sites Ready for Today, UB Vice Rector Ensured Complete Preparation

en.malanginspirasi.com – ​The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Brawijaya University (UB), Prof. Imam Santoso, inspected complete preparation of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) locations on Monday, April 2oth.

The inspection targeted 15 locations on the UB campus.

They ranged from several rooms in the faculties to the Computer Laboratory of the Directorate of Information Technology (DTI).

​”The rooms must be sterile. We ensure that all infrastructure, such as computers, laptops, CCTV, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), generators, and other equipment, including metal detectors, is ready,” said Prof. Imam.

​He emphasized that UB provides complete preparation to host the UTBK, which will take place from April 21 to 26, 2026.

​In addition to technical aspects, the university has also improved the quality of supervision compared to the previous year.

It can minimize the potential for cheating without compromising the comfort of participants.

“We are increasing the strictness of supervision, but at the same time maintaining participant comfort so they can take the test smoothly,” he added.

Vehicle Access Arrangements

Meanwhile, the Director of the Directorate of Administration and Academic Services, Dr. Rosihan Asmara, S.E., M.P., explained the vehicle access arrangements on campus.

He emphasized that delivery vehicles, including online motorcycle taxis, are only permitted to deliver to the campus gate.

“Parents may drop off, but must exit immediately because there is no permission to wait inside as the route must remain clear of traffic,” Rosihan said.

For participants who drive their own vehicles, the campus  allows them to enter and use the parking facilities provided at each exam location.

Prof. Imam was accompanied by the Director of the Information Technology Directorate (DTI), the Director of the Academic Administration and Services Directorate (DALA), the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) Team at Brawijaya University, and other relevant work units. (DEA/UB Public Relations).
