During the farewell ceremony, Sanusi, accompanied by Vice Regent Lathifah Shohib, reminded the pilgrims to preserve their sincerity throughout the holy journey. He stressed that not everyone is granted such a sacred opportunity.

“Performing the Hajj is a noble calling. Your departure today is both a blessing and a trust that must be embraced with gratitude and full sincerity,” Sanusi stated.

Regarding logistics, Sanusi confirmed that the Malang Regency Government, along with all relevant parties, has put forth maximum effort to provide the best service for a smooth departure process. He also assured the pilgrims that the government is working to ensure they are not burdened with additional costs.

“The government is committed to ensuring pilgrims are not overburdened, including making certain there are no increases in flight costs that would weigh them down,” he added.

Sanusi also urged the pilgrims to always prioritize safety, obey the instructions of officers on the ground, help one another, and maintain their health amidst the demanding schedule of rituals.

In his closing remarks, he entrusted the pilgrims with a message to uphold proper conduct and behavior to safeguard the good name of Malang Regency on the international stage.

“Take advantage of this very precious opportunity to worship solemnly, multiply your prayers, and seek blessings for yourselves, your families, and for the progress of our beloved Malang Regency,” he concluded.
