Along with a joint team, Polresta Malng Kota held a public order and service roll call at 6:30 PM WIB in the courtyard of the Malang City Police Headquarters tonight, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
The roll call involved synergy across agencies, including the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) (Kodim), Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), and the Transportation Agency (Dishub), as a form of integrated collaboration to maintain security stability leading up to and during the night of takbir.
The Head of Operations (Kabag Ops) Polresta Malang Kota, Commissioner Wiwin Rusli explained that this activity was a preventive and preemptive measure to anticipate potential disturbances to public order and security.

“This standby roll call aims to ensure all personnel are ready to provide services and security to the public, especially during the night of Takbir (prayer) of Eid al-Adha, ensuring a safe, orderly, and conducive atmosphere,” said Police Commissioner Wiwin, representing the Malang City Police Chief (Kapolresta Malang Kota),
He stated that the total deployed force is approximately 400 joint personnel.
It consists of 350 members of Polresta Malang Kota, 20 personnel from Kodim, 20 personnel from Satpol PP, and 10 personnel from the Dishub.

All personnel will be divided into several security patterns: some will be on standby at the Malang City Police Headquarters, large-scale patrols divided into two groups (north and south), and traffic control at strategic points.
“Patrols will focus on areas deemed vulnerable, including residential areas with minimal security, villages, vital objects, and locations potentially used for illegal street racing,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, police officers within the jurisdiction of Polresta Malang Kota, including the Blimbing, Lowokwaru, Klojen, Kedungkandang, and Sukun Police, held a roll call at their respective headquarters and monitored takbir activities in their areas.
Wiwin also emphasized the importance of maintaining tolerance and order during the mobile takbir (takbir keliling) program.
“We urge the public participating in the mobile takbir to comply with the regulations, not to disrupt security, to respect each other, and to avoid obstructing traffic flow. Religious activities must continue to proceed in an orderly and responsible manner,” he added.
He further urged the public to play an active role in maintaining security in their neighborhoods, especially those guarding security posts.
“We hope the public, especially those on duty at the security posts, will remain alert and vigilant. Don’t let your guard down or get carried away by the excitement of takbir night, even if the atmosphere isn’t as lively as Eid al-Fitr,” he added.
Furthermore, Police Commissioner Wiwin also appealed to the public during the holiday season to remain vigilant about safety, both when leaving home and when engaging in activities outside.
“Ensure your home is safe before leaving, and always obey traffic laws while driving. Safety is our top priority,” he advised.
