Kansas City Police launched an immediate investigation on Friday night, resulting in the arrest of two drivers suspected of involvement.
“We are investigating a possible theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City with items missing this evening. The investigation is ongoing,” said a spokesman for Kansas Police.
The theft could disrupt some of Tuchel’s preparations for their FIFA World Cup 2026 opener against Croatia on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the England national team players are about to undertake the first full training day tomorrow.
According to Sky Sports News, the majority of the stolen items were quickly recovered.
Furthermore, kit sponsor Nike has already expedited replacement gear from Europe to ensure Thomas Tuchel’s side faces zero disruptions before their opening match against Croatia on Wednesday.
