en.malanginspirasi.com – Tijjani Reijnders has completed a £52m transfer to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Qadsiah, bringing a brief spell at Manchester City to a close.
The 28-year-old Dutch midfielder moves to Saudi Arabia just one year after joining City from AC Milan for £46.5m.
During his single season in Manchester, Reijnders featured 50 times across all competitions and scored seven goals.
He helped the club secure an FA Cup and Carabao Cup double during Pep Guardiola’s final campaign.
On the international stage, he started three group-stage games for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup before being benched for their last-32 exit against Morocco.
Reijnders was left out of the squad by new City manager Enzo Maresca for their recent 3-0 Community Shield defeat to Arsenal.
He is understood to have penned a five-year contract with Al-Qadsiah, where he will link up with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

“I have been incredibly privileged to play for Manchester City, and I have relished every minute of my time here,” Reijnders said.
“From the very moment I arrived, everyone at the club—players, coaches, and staff—made me feel so welcome and a part of the Manchester City family. I would also like to say a special thank you to the City fans who were so warm and supportive both to me and my family.”
Reijnders’ departure continues a massive midfield reshuffle for Manchester City ahead of the new campaign.
Rodri joined Barcelona in a £65m transfer, Bernardo Silva signed with Real Madrid on a free following the expiration of his contract, and Nico Gonzalez remains heavily linked with Newcastle.
City are currently in advanced negotiations with Lille for Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi and maintain a strong interest in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez.
