en.malanginspirasi.com  – U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday blamed mass immigration for violent unrest across France, declaring that the country is “burning” and urging French authorities to close their borders immediately.

In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote: “France is burning! The immigration of people from an entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once great country. Close your Borders and take control, before it is too late! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

The official White House social media account later amplified the message on X.

The remarks came a day after nationwide protests in France over rising living costs, education conditions, and deteriorating public services escalated into widespread violence.

Demonstrations drew hundreds of thousands of participants. French authorities reported around 1,800 arrests, with hundreds of police officers and emergency personnel injured.

Violence included arson attacks on public buildings.

In the central city of Limoges, a fire heavily damaged the 143-year-old city hall, with footage showing structural collapse.

In Marseille and other cities, masked individuals targeted government buildings, while looting and clashes with police occurred in Paris and elsewhere.

Vice President JD Vance issued similar comments the previous day, criticizing Western policies that he said imported ‘the third world’ without regard for assimilation.

He expressed hope that France would “stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn.”

French officials have described the core protests as rooted in socioeconomic grievances, particularly among students and unions, rather than immigration.

Interior Minister Laurent Nunez confirmed the scale of arrests and ongoing investigations into the violence.

President Emmanuel Macron faced mounting pressure amid the unrest, with presidential elections approaching in roughly six months.

Trump’s statement continues his long-standing criticism of European immigration policies and aligns with his administration’s emphasis on border security at home.

The White House amplification underscores the administration’s view that uncontrolled immigration contributes to social instability.
