The announcement, made on the eve of Hadjar’s expected return to action following a wrist injury, secures Red Bull’s driver lineup through the next campaign.
Hadjar has delivered a strong performance during his first full year with the senior squad, putting to rest any lingering questions over who would partner the four-time World Champion.

“It made perfect sense,” said Verstappen. “I think for everyone it’s good. I get on very well with him, it’s good that we have continuation and we can just focus on the races ahead.”
Hadjar, who impressed early in the year with consistent top-six results and a podium finish in Monaco, missed three races due to a minor wrist fracture sustained during training.
With Liam Lawson filling in temporarily, Hadjar has completed his rehabilitation and passed simulator evaluations ahead of his track return.
By locking in Hadjar’s contract early, Red Bull avoids any driver market distractions, allowing both Verstappen and Hadjar to focus entirely on on-track results for the remainder of the season and beyond.
