en.malanginspirasi.com – Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026, Opera, a leading global browser and AI agent company, is rolling out a dedicated Football Hub across all Opera mobile browsers.
This update makes it easier for users to access all the matches in one dedicated football hub, featuring live scores, statistics, match notifications, and personalized AI-powered football news.
Football fans are increasingly relying on their smartphones to follow matches while on the go.
According to an Opera survey of over 77,000 users worldwide, 86 percent plan to follow the tournament.
Meanwhile, 87 percent are willing to stay up past midnight to watch at least some of their favorite teams’ matches.
Yet, 38 percent of those unable to watch live will monitor the matches using their browser.
In Indonesia, where football is the most popular sport, enthusiasm for the tournament is particularly high.
As most matches are expected to take place late at night and early in the morning due to the time difference, watching and following every match can certainly be a challenge.
The Opera survey also found that nearly half of Indonesian fans (45 percent) rely on their phones, including mobile browsers like Opera for Android, for real-time score updates, while 19 percent turn to highlights on social media to stay informed.
These findings highlight how deeply embedded mobile and digital platforms have become in the way Indonesians consume football content.
Despite this, many fans still have to switch between live broadcasts, score-tracking apps, social media, and news platforms to stay up-to-date with their favorite teams.
To help football fans stay connected more easily and seamlessly, Opera has introduced Football Hub, a dedicated football hub integrated directly into Opera mobile browsers, including Opera Mini.
“By providing instant access to live scores and a more modern and intuitive design, we ensure football fans stay connected to every moment of the match with just one tap, even when they can’t watch it live,” said Tim Lesnik, Product Manager at Opera Mobile.
Unifying Football Updates in One Place
Through Football Hub, users can access football information directly from their browser without the need to download separate score-tracking or statistics apps.
Key features include:

In addition to football features, Opera is also updating its browser experience for Android.
This update includes a redesigned start page, a real-time weather widget, and faster access to AI Mode and Private Browser.
