His grey Land Rover Defender flipped onto its roof, yet he managed to walk away from the scene on Millhouse Woods Lane without any injuries.

Hull City confirmed the incident and reassured fans after photos of the overturned vehicle with shattered windows began circulating on social media.

In an official statement, the club expressed relief that Thomas emerged “completely unscathed.”

Despite the dramatic nature of the collision, early reports indicate no other vehicles were directly involved in the crash.

Club staff arrived at the location shortly after the incident to assist the player and liaise with emergency personnel.

Emergency services responded quickly, with Humberside Police urging drivers to avoid the area while officers managed the site and cleared the wreckage.

The incident caused significant local disruption.

One resident, an NHS worker, reported being unable to leave for his shift due to the road closure.

“There will be patients who will miss appointments because of this,” he noted, describing the single-access street as  an accident waiting to happen.

Local residents have reportedly raised concerns in the past regarding heavy traffic and narrow conditions along that particular stretch of road.

Thomas, who represented Wales at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, finalized his transfer to Hull City earlier this month for an undisclosed fee, securing his stay through summer 2030.
