Find Out Innovative Ways of Kanwil DJP Jatim III in SPT Monitoring and Revenue

en.Malanginspirasi.com –  The East Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP Jatim) III continues to intensify its appeal to all taxpayers, both individuals and corporations, to promptly file their Annual Tax Returns (SPT) before the deadline.

Early filing can provide convenience for taxpayers while avoiding system congestion on March 31 (for individuals) and April 30 (for corporations).

As of February 28, 2026, the East Java III Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP) recorded that 342,880 taxpayers had filed their SPT, 84,031 of them were from the Greater Malang area and Batu City.

The number will continue to grow over time, as Kanwil DJP will deliver various services and outreach campaigns.

Innovative Outreach Services and Outreach Campaigns

Kanwil DJP III has a strong  commitment to taxpayers to simplify tax reports by actively provides outreach services to various agencies for assisting employees in collectively filing their SPT.

People with high mobility can visit a tax corner  at the Olympic Garden Mall (MOG) in Malang and a special weekend service.

Kanwil DJP III also held an outreach campaign titled “Ngabuburit Spectaxcular” to enliven the tax filing season and welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

This activity provides a platform for collectively completing annual tax returns in a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Not only this event provides assistance with tax return filing, but it also facilitates economic empowerment through a bazaar for fostered MSMEs and a social initiative that distributed hundreds of takjil (breaking fast) snacks and MSME shopping vouchers to taxpayers.

“If we just sit back and wait, we will not achieve compliance. The government must be proactive in reaching out to taxpayers and facilitate every step they take to contribute. That’s what we’re trying to do,” the Head of the East Java III Regional Tax Office Lindawaty said.

Revenue Target

Taxpayer compliance in filing annual tax returns is the main catalyst in driving voluntary taxpayer compliance.

This improved compliance is crucial for achieving state revenue targets.

This target represents a 3.05 percent increase compared to the previous year’s target and 28.99 percent higher than the 2025 realization.

The tax revenue realization of the Kanwil DJP III had reached Rp 4.9 trillion, or 11.85 percent of the total 2026 target, as of March 5, 2026.

This achievement indicates positive growth of 30.39 percent higher than national growth (ranking 4th nationally) and the highest in East Java.

Again, Lindawaty, said that Kanwil DJP III will continue strengthening strategies to explore tax potential and maintain service integrity by implementing a zero-tolerance policy for all forms of violations in order to achieve the overall target and prevent the revenue gap from widening.

“The revenue target of Rp 41.6 trillion is not just a figure, but a concrete manifestation of our mutual cooperation in building the nation,” Lindawaty confirmed.

She continued that Kanwil DJP III  appreciate the amount of money and the time taxpayers take to file their tax returns.

“We have a strong commitment  to provide sincere, professional, and clean service as a feedback for  taxpayers’ dedication,” Lindawaty concluded.
