Malanginspirasi.com – The regent (Bupati) of Malang, Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M., officially inaugurated the Free Lebaran Homecoming Transportation Program (Mudik Gratis Lebaran) 2025 on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Pendopo Agung of Malang Regency.
During the event, Bupati Sanusi emphasized the theme “Safe Homecoming, Comfortable Family (Mudik Aman, Keluarga Nyaman),” highlighting the importance of safety and comfort for the travelers.
He remarked that the 2025 Free Lebaran Homecoming Program is a collaborative effort with various stakeholders, reflecting their commitment to the community.
“I extend my gratitude to all parties involved in making this program a success, including the Transportation Agency (Dinas Perhubungan), TNI-POLRI, transport operators, and our contributing partners,” stated Sanusi.
He expressed his hope for a smooth and safe journey for all homecoming travelers.
“May this Idul Fitri bring happiness to us all and strengthen our bonds of brotherhood. Please convey our respectful greetings and greetings of kinship from the Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang (The Malang Regency Government) to your families back home,” he conveyed.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang has arranged for seven buses to accommodate travelers heading to various routes, including:
Malang – Bangkalan – Sampang – Pamekasan – Sumenep
Malang – Nganjuk – Madiun – Ngawi
Malang – Probolinggo – Situbondo – Banyuwangi
Malang – Trenggalek – Ponorogo – Pacitan
Malang – Probolinggo – Jember – Bondowoso
A total of 399 travelers have registered for this program, which is expected to provide a solution for the residents of Malang Regency and migrants wishing to return to their hometowns in a safer and more comfortable manner.
The launch of the 2025 Free Lebaran Homecoming Transportation Program aims to eliminate the difficulties previously faced by travelers in finding transportation back home.
