Malanginspirasi.com – PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP), supports literacy awareness by distributing approximately 800 books to several elementary schools (SD) in Malang City.
This donation is the implementation of TPS’s commitment to support the quality improvement of basic education in Indonesia through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) activities.
Those 800 books were voluntary donations from all TPS employees as a form of active involvement in TJSL activities.
This book donation program aims to enrich students’ reading materials and support literacy initiatives from an early age.
The donated books include children’s storybooks, general knowledge books, motivational books, and other educational books selected to encourage students’ interest in reading and creativity.
Acting Corporate Secretary of TPS, Pragola Jiwa Suryanto, stated that this activity is part of TPS’s commitment to education.
Especially for the younger generation in the East Java region.

The TPS Community and Social Responsibility (TJSL) team directly carried out the distribution as they visited several elementary schools targeted by the program.
Teachers from the related schools welcomed this initiative and hoped that similar activities can continue in the years to come.
