Malanginspirasi.com – The Insan Mulia Foundation (Yayasan) held a major parenting seminar titled “Ayah dan Bunda, Peluklah Aku, Anakmu!” (Fathers and Mothers, Hug Me, Your Child!) at Hotel Pelangi, Malang City, on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between schools and parents to raise a generation that is both intellectually sharp and morally upright.
M. Syamsul Bakhri, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., one of the foundation’s founders, emphasized that quality education depends on both teachers and families.
“Success in education isn’t solely the responsibility of educators—parents and families play an equally vital role,” he said.
The Irreplaceable Power of Parental Love
He added that the love a child receives at home is irreplaceable.
“When a child gets full emotional support from parents, the impact is profoundly different than if home is just a place to sleep,” Syamsul explained.

The seminar sought to align educational approaches between school and home, ensuring positive values and habits taught in class are reinforced domestically.
“This way, the knowledge and attitudes we instill in students carry over into their homes and become lifelong habits,” he noted.
The foundation’s vision is to nurture smart, morally grounded children, and it urges parents to provide consistent support.
“Our slogan is ‘smart and morally upright children.’ We hope parents will actively back their kids every step of the way,” Syamsul said.
Wahyu Hidayat: Collaboration Is the Key
Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat, who attended the event, praised the initiative and called school-family synergy the cornerstone of educational success.
“This grand parenting event is a key driver of a child’s educational triumph. It requires balance between what is taught at school and at home,” he stated.

“No matter how excellent the schooling, without family reinforcement, children won’t reach their full potential,” the mayor added.
In closing, he highlighted nutrition as an integral part of family education.
“Nutrition is education—it strengthens motor skills and memory. True education covers not just academics but a child’s complete growth. Parents must ensure their children receive adequate nutrition,” Wahyu concluded.
