This event took place at the BPA Building of the Attorney General’s Office on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Attending the event include Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Head of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) Brigadier General (Ret.) Dr. Achmadi, and other high-ranking state officials.

In his remarks, the Attorney General emphasized that law enforcement by the state should not stop at punishing perpetrators, but must be carried out thoroughly.

This is to ensure that assets obtained from criminal acts are recovered and returned to the state and victims.

“Justice will not be perfect if law enforcement stops only at punishing the perpetrators, without ensuring that assets resulting from criminal activity are recovered, returned to the state and victims, and utilized to the fullest extent for the benefit of the wider community. Justice is not enough just to be spoken about; it must be restored, returned, and its benefits felt,” said Burhanuddin.

The 2026 BPA Fair, held from May 18-21, 2026, was the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office’s implementation of the public’s perception that the auction process at the BPA was closed and uninformative.
