en.malanginspirasi.com – The Faculty of Agro-Industrial and Biosystems Technology (FTAB) at Brawijaya University (UB) expands its international network by conducting an academic visit to National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan on September 21, 2026.
NTU is the number one university in Taiwan and ranked in the world’s top 100 according to the QS World University Rankings.
the Dean of FTAB UB, Prof. Yusuf Hendrawan, STP., M.App.Life.Sc., Ph.D. led this strategic visit along with the faculty.
Associate Dean of the College of Bioresources and Agriculture, Institute of Food Science and Technology, Professor Min-Hsiung Pan, A welcomed the delegation along with NTU leadership.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed five strategic collaboration initiatives.
First, a dual-degree program for Master’s and PhD levels.
Second, research collaboration in the field of agro-industrial and biosystems technology.
Third, inbound and outbound student programs.
Fourth, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and fifth, adjunct professor and visiting lecturer programs.

The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTAB) UB, Endrika Widyastuti, S.Pt., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that the collaboration with NTU will further open up opportunities to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
“Currently, two FTAB alumni have joined NTU: Christopher Caesar Yudho Sutopo, Ph.D., and Verianti, STP, as an assistant researcher. It proves that the quality of FTAB UB graduates gain international recognition,” she said.
Through this initiative, FTAB UB expects to accelerate internationalization and provide broader global opportunities for students and lecturers to compete on a global level.
