The protest, scheduled for August 27, brings together civil society groups demanding two core legislative actions: the immediate passage of the Asset Forfeiture Bill (RUU Perampasan Aset) and the enforcement of the death penalty for corrupt officials
During a press briefing outside the DPR building, Supriyono detailed severe digital disruptions aimed at halting their mobilization efforts.

“My social media accounts, including TikTok and WhatsApp, were suspended or compromised nearly simultaneously when my bank feature access was lost,” he continued.
Bus charter companies in Pati reportedly canceled bookings after returning down payments, citing alleged intervention and pressure from police authorities.
Supriyono also described a physical attack that occurred while traveling from Pati, Central Java, toward Jakarta.

“The glass shattered, causing minor injuries to three people, including myself,”* Supriyono stated, suspecting the incident was an act of intimidation aimed at discouraging their participation in the demonstration.
Key Demands and Commitment to Peaceful Demonstration
Addressing concerns regarding potential public disruption, Supriyono emphasized that the rally is an organic, non-funded civil movement.
He urged all participants to maintain order, refrain from damaging public property, and resist provocations.
The coalition insists that its primary objective is pushing for institutional anti-corruption reforms. Supriyono highlighted that systemic corruption inflicts severe socio-economic harm on the general public.
He added that the group is demanding a written guarantee from parliamentary leadership stating that the Asset Forfeiture Bill will be officially enacted before December.
