The audience was held to discuss preparations and support for the success of the upcoming PAKASA Malang Raya Management Inauguration.
This meeting was as a forum for fostering friendship and coordination between the Malang Regency Government (Pemkab Malang) and PAKASA to ensure the smooth, orderly implementation of the event, and providing benefits for cultural preservation and strengthening local wisdom values in Malang Regency.
The Chairman of the Association of Surakarta Palace People (PAKASA) Malang Raya, Dwi Indrotito Cahyono, stated that the audience was to establish coordination and request support from Pemkab Malang for the planned inauguration of the PAKASA Malang Raya Management Board.
“We hope that this inauguration will not only be an organizational event, but also a means of strengthening brotherhood, strengthening love for national culture, and introducing the noble values of the Surakarta Palace culture to the public, especially the younger generation,” said Dwi Indrotito Cahyono.

In response, Wabup Malang welcomed the planned inauguration of the PAKASA Malang Raya management.

“The Malang Regency Government greatly appreciates PAKASA’s efforts in preserving the culture and noble values inherited from our ancestors. Culture is a national identity that must be continuously preserved and passed on to future generations. We hope this inauguration event will be a success and serve as a momentum to strengthen collaboration between the government and the community in cultural preservation,” she said .
Furthermore, she emphasized that cultural preservation is inseparable from community character development.
She mentioned that cultural values contain teachings about ethics, mutual cooperation, tolerance, and respect for history, which are highly relevant in today’s society.

“Collaboration with cultural communities like PAKASA can be a valuable educational tool for students to learn about the history, customs, and noble values of Indonesian culture. This aligns with efforts to build a generation with character, culture, and pride in our nation’s heritage,” said a representative from the Malang Regency Education Office.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Malang Regency Tourism and Culture Office assessed that cultural activities have great potential to support the development of the regional tourism sector.
Malang Regency’s cultural diversity can be a unique attraction for tourists while strengthening the region’s image as a tourist destination rich in cultural values.
“Cultural preservation and tourism development are interrelated. Cultural events such as the inauguration of cultural organizations, art performances, and traditional activities can become attractive tourist attractions.
